Dear Friend
Yes, here I am once again pointing to your heart…
Being called by the Father to a Heart Ministry, I have no choice but to continuously urge people to cleave, remain faithful and be devoted to the Lord with a resolute heart (Acts 11:23). Today I want to urge you to have the same kind of heart that HE has (Jn 15:12, 17:21).
Why is the heart so important?
Life starts within the heart. The root of your attitude comes from deep within your heart, then moves towards your mind and then is exhibited through your actions. It is the sphere of divine influence. Yes, it is from here where you are able to passionately reach out and touch the lives of others. Passion is alive and contagious. It revitalizes and brings life to those around you.
Think about it – two different people share their knowledge. The one talks in a monotonous bland way, no heart in it whatsoever, just purely facts. The other is alive with love and passion about what he is sharing with his audience. Which one is going to catch your attention?
Yea, I thought so…the one with heart!
Your heart can make you either drag your feet or it can make you want to fly. It can make you feel terrible about yourself or it can make you feel a million dollars!
So, what is the point I’m trying to bring across? HAVE A HEART!
The million dollar question is:
What is the motive of your heart when it comes to others around you?
Are you willing to walk the extra mile for someone who is in need of help or who you love?
Are you willing to stre-e-e-e-e-tch yourself beyond yourself for someone else?
Do unto others what you’d like them to do for you.
Sadly we sometimes need to be stripped from everything to obtain that kind of heart… a truly caring loving heart. And sometimes God even has to break our heart to get to our heart. It’s His way of helping our hidden heart to come out.
Go SERVE others in LOVE today and every other day. Strengthen and extend your roots to venture endlessly in love.
S – STRENGTHEN (grow and mature) and
E – EXTEND (stretch yourself) your
R – ROOTS (your real self) to
V – VENTURE (dare, risk)
E – ENDLESSLY (never ending)

What you give out will come back to you. Prov 11:25 – “The liberal person shall be enriched, and he who waters shall himself be watered.”
